The Latin American Travel Association (Lata) has unveiled Avivah Wittenberg-Cox as the keynote speaker for the Lata Expo Conference 2026, which will focus on older travellers.
Wittenberg-Cox, an expert on leadership, gender and generational balance, longevity and the future of work and careers, will feature among the line-up on the opening day of the event, Monday, June 8.
This year, the conference will move to the De Vere Cotswold Water Park, south-east of Cirencester, finishing on June 10.
The Safer Tourism Foundation’s Kathy Atkinson, another speaker, will share data-led insights on how the older consumer is travelling, the potential implications and challenges, and the opportunities that can be harnessed by tourism businesses.
Journalist Simon Calder, returning as the moderator, will host a panel session discussing travel trends.
Lata chairman Martin Johnson said: “We are excited to be moving Lata Expo out to the beautiful Cotswolds this year and have Simon Calder once more guide our delegates through the Lata conference.
“We know there is a new and growing generation of over-50s travellers and through the range of speakers we have for the conference, we will address the opportunities and challenges that this brings for all our businesses.”
The event has previously taken place at the De Vere Beaumont Estate near Windsor.
