Premier Holidays has launched a revamped short-haul portal for agents to book holidays online faster and more easily than in the past.
The short-haul booking portal - which has not been available to agents since May while the website was being redeveloped - includes live availability and features the operator’s most competitive prices for holidays to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
And for the first time, agents can book Isle of Man holidays online while there is an extended range of bookable accommodation, flights, baggage options and experiences across its product range available through the portal.
Holidays can be tailormade with the addition of experiences such as afternoon teas, island tours or entry to attractions such as the Jersey War Tunnels.
Agents can still book over the phone but many of the rates are exclusive to online, with the portal showing the best available deals. Holidays by ferry to Jersey still need to be booked over the phone.
Agents can also preview both contracted and third-party stock through the portal’s live availability, which connects directly to Premier Holidays’ booking engine, to help clients looking for last minute holidays.
The operator is also offering a lower deposit of £60 to help secure sales, including on low-cost carrier bookings, with baggage included.
The portal can be found at trade.premierholidays.co.uk. Agents who have used Premier’s previous portal can continue to use the same login details.
The operator said the portal was an interim system until its next generation platform is launched, which will enable single centre long-haul holidays to be booked online. It is currently working on the integration of its long-haul destinations into the next generation platform.
Director Mark Godfrey said: “We’re excited to reintroduce our short haul booking system with enhanced accessibility. The new platform offers greater choice, flexibility, and value — all designed to make bookings simpler and more rewarding for our agent partners, while providing even more options for their clients.”
