Nominations open for Global Resilience Council Hall of Fame

The Global Travel & Tourism Resilience Council has opened nominations for the 2024 Global Resilience Council Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame was founded in 1995 and since 2014 has been part of the portfolio of Travel Weekly parent company Jacobs Media.

As in previous years, nominations are invited for this year’s cohort of inductees, recognising individuals who have achieved significant business success in the travel, hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors, while inspiring and shaping the wider industry.

In addition, a series of awards will recognise current business excellence in categories including the Impact Award, Non-Profit & Association Award, Resilience Award and Sustainable Business Award, and there is also an option to nominate a company or organisation to join the Hall of Fame.

The awards will be judged by eight industry leaders in their fields, with the aim of celebrating excellence and showcasing well-executed strategies and ideas to allow others to learn and implement best practice in their own businesses.

Jacobs Media chairman Clive Jacobs said: “The Hall of Fame recognises those who have had a profound impact on our industries and membership is bestowed on only the most successful and exceptional individuals and businesses.

“As we have proven time and again, we are a resilient, innovative and influential sector, and I have no doubt we will continue to evolve and thrive under the leadership of the people and brands we will honour at this year’s event.”

The 2024 Global Resilience Council Hall of Fame will take place on November 6 at London’s Plaisterers’ Hall. Nominations are open until September 13.
