He said: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a team. The last six years have been both a personal and professional test, but my values have kept me focused – and I leave proud of the business and the people who continue to shape it.
“The experiences industry is, for the first time, becoming a central part of the customer journey – and it’s an incredibly exciting time. I’m confident that the cornerstones are now in place for AWG to continue evolving and scaling globally.”
He added: “For now, I’m taking some time to welcome our new baby and focus on my growing family – before diving into the next challenge.”
The announcement from AWG said Mahoney “played a key role in shaping the company’s commercial and operational direction – leading advancements in retail and wider distribution partnerships, enhancing product strategy, and supporting the business through a critical phase of growth and significant change”.
Mahoney (right) said: “It’s been a fantastic journey, and I’m proud of the impact we’ve made – from redefining our product offering to strengthening key partner relationships.
“AWG is positioned for long-term success, and I’m grateful to have contributed to that momentum.”
AWG thanked both for their “dedication” and wished them “the very best in their future endeavours”.
