Princess Cruises has appointed Mike Pack to the newly created role of national training and engagement manager.
The role aims to “enhance the line’s trade support strategy” across the UK, Ireland and Europe, with Pack developing overarching engagement strategy, delivering live and digital training programmes to trade partners, and representing the cruise line at trade shows, roadshows and events.
Pack has worked for Carnival Cruise Line for more than 13 years, most recently as a fleet cruise director.
Eithne Williamson, Princess Cruises UK and Europe vice-president, said: "We’re thrilled to welcome Mike to the Princess Cruises team.
“His experience, and passion for the cruise industry make him a wonderful fit for this new role.
“We know how important it is for our travel partners to feel supported and confident when selling Princess, and Mike’s appointment is a clear signal of our continued investment in the trade."
Pack added: "I’m delighted to be joining Princess Cruises at such an exciting time.
“I’ve always believed in the power of great training and meaningful engagement, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our travel partners to help them feel inspired, informed, and ready to grow their Princess business."
