Princess Cruises appoints new senior sales manager

Princess Cruises has appointed Sophia Lief as senior sales manager for the UK team.

She will replace Yasmin Mckechnie who has been promoted to sales director for Princess Cruises UK, Ireland and EMEA.

Lief started with Carnival UK in 2023 as a commercial planning manager at P&O Cruises and most recently was senior commercial planning manager at Cunard.

Prior to Carnival UK, Lief worked at The Body Shop in global commercial planning.

Mckechnie said: “Sophia’s commercial insight and strategic planning expertise makes her an exceptional addition to our award-winning sales team.

“Her experience across Carnival UK brands and her work championing employee engagement will be invaluable as we continue to grow our partnerships and deliver ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond.”
