Princess Cruises has promoted Yasmin Mckechnie to the role of sales director for the UK and Europe.
Mckechnie succeeds Hayley Moore in the position, following her departure to join Hurtigruten in October.
She will begin in the role on December 1 and report to Eithne Williamson, vice-president for the UK and Europe.
Mckechnie joined Princess Cruises in April 2024 as senior sales manager, with the line starting the process to backfill the position.
She has more than 14 years of experience in the travel industry, having held sales and leadership roles at P&O Cruises and Virgin Holidays.
She said: “Continuing my journey with Princess Cruises is exciting, and I look forward to leading our talented sales team across UK, Ireland and Europe as we work with our agent partners to showcase our incredible cruise brand across multiple markets.
“We will continue to work in partnership to discover new ways for mutual growth.”
Williamson added: “Yasmin has been an integral member of the Princess team since joining us in 2024, consistently demonstrating strong commercial acumen and a clear vision for strengthening our brand in the UK.
“We are delighted that she will now take the helm of our award-winning sales team, bringing her strategic expertise and enthusiasm to continue to elevate our trade engagement and deepen relationships with our valued partners across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
“We are now commencing the process to backfill Yasmin’s current role as senior sales manager.”
