UK-based outsourcing specialist Technomine Travel Solutions (TTS) will launch in North America next month as part of its international growth strategy.
Global sales director Chris Oakes, an industry veteran of more than 40 years, has taken on an expanded role as global sales and operations director to support the next phase of growth.
Allison Haynes has been appointed sales vice-president for the USA division, responsible for new client acquisition across the travel and hospitality sectors in the US and Canadian travel markets, building on the footprint of parent group Technomine.
A native of Atlanta, she has nearly 30 years’ experience in not-for-profit organisations, tour operators, the cruise sector and hotels.
The North America strategy will focus on administrative, finance and back-office solutions, alongside round-the-clock operational coverage.
Parent company Technomine Group has offices in North America, UAE, India and the UK.
Kunal Naik, group managing director, said: “We announced two years ago our intention to expand TTS into these regions.
“This next phase is about scaling in a considered way, ensuring we maintain the quality, culture and partnership approach that underpins our growth.”
TTS launched six years ago and employs 105 staff. It forms part of a wider group employing more than 455 staff globally within Technomine.
The business supports more than 45 clients across the UK and Ireland, including The Travel Network Group, Ocean Holidays, Faremine and Rush Insurance.
Oakes said: “Our 24/7 out-of-hours support is a core part of our proposition, acting as a true extension of our clients’ businesses.
“As we expand into North America, we are bringing a proven model across administration, finance and back-office functions that enables travel businesses to scale efficiently.”
Viral Naik, group chief financial officer, added: “We have built a financially robust and scalable platform that supports sustainable international growth, with a clear focus on efficiency, consistency and quality.”
Further updates on client growth and regional expansion are expected later this year.
