Lynsey Jones promoted by Balkan Holidays to head of sales and brand

National sales manager Lynsey Jones has been promoted by Balkan Holidays to the newly-created role of head of sales and brand.

Two new regional sales managers are due to be confirmed next month, with current RSM Natasha Smith taking up a new role focused on homeworkers. 

Emiliyan Stoyanov moves from the reservations team as sales and marketing associate, collaborating with Jones. 

In her new position, Jones will oversee sales and marketing for trade and direct channels, designed to ensure a more streamlined and focused approach. 

She said: “I am excited about growing both channels and to be working with our new team in both the UK and Bulgaria. 

“We have many projects underway including introducing new technology for agent training using AI, continuing with UK events and exploring new media opportunities to really educate customers on our six destinations and why they should book with a specialist tour operator to the Balkans and beyond.” 

Head of product and commercial Andy Jones added: “It is crucial that we grow our business both through the trade and direct channels and we are very pleased that Lynsey has accepted this new role. 

“With her drive, enthusiasm and love of travel, we are confident that she will be very successful in driving our sales forward now and in the future.”
