The UK Holiday Group has welcomed back its former operations director to take on a newly created product development role to help the operator expand its portfolio.
Neal Fletcher has joined the mature holidays specialist again, having previously worked for the Norwich-based company for 29 years.
He had retired from the coach holiday operator in 2019 but has now taken on the product development role, looking to increase the offering across the group’s five main brands: Grand UK Holidays, SunriseDirect, Glenton Holidays, Palmer Holidays and justforgroups!.

He is tasked with sourcing new hotels, fresh itineraries and a greater variety of attractions – plus self-drive holidays, ocean cruises and rail holidays.
Paul Bennett, managing director of The UK Holiday Group, who founded the company more than 40 years ago, said: “Having spent years creating many memorable holidays for our happy holidaymakers, I understand that our customers need variety.
“While we’re aimed at the mature traveller, that doesn’t mean they don’t have an adventurous spirit.
“Neal’s arrival will mean we can create a whole new product range for our loyal customers, and perhaps tempt some new ones to give us a try too.”
Abi Charter, sales and marketing manager, said Fletcher’s enthusiasm, wealth of experience and focus on quality control are a “winning formula” for The UK Holiday Group.
