New boss to take helm of Travelsoft arm Atcore

Travel tech group Travelsoft is to promote Mike Wright to chief executive of its Atcore brand from October 1.

He succeeds Dave Cruickshank, who is moving on “to pursue new opportunities” outside of the company.

Wright has worked for more than 20 years at Atcore Group, whose reservation and distribution platforms Atcom and Tigerbay power business transformation for operators such as Tui, EasyJet holidays, and Dertour Group.

The company said: “Dave has been instrumental in steering The Atcore Group through a period of significant transformation and growth and most recently guided the company through its successful acquisition to become part of Travelsoft.

”The Atcore Group remains dedicated to providing best-in-class travel technology solutions and looks forward to the exciting developments ahead under Mike Wright’s leadership.”

Christian Sabbagh, founder and chief executive of Travelsoft, which acquired Atcore earlier this year, said: “Mike’s long-standing commitment to Atcore and his proven leadership make him the ideal person to steer the company forward.

“We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Dave Cruickshank for his outstanding contributions and wish him all the best in his future pursuits.”

Wright added: “I am excited to step into the role of CEO at The Atcore Group and lead a company that has consistently set the standard for innovation and excellence in our industry.

“During my time with Atcore I’ve witnessed the incredible impact our technology has had on our clients and the market.

“I’m committed to driving our business forward, continuing to deliver exceptional service and innovation to our customers, and exploring new opportunities for further growth and success.”
