Universal Orlando Resort has revealed the first details about its fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, due to open in 2025.
Epic Universe will offer more than 50 attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences across five “immersive worlds”.
The heart of Epic Universe will be Celestial Park (main picture), with architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements. Celestial Park will be the gateway to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe.
These will be The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic; Super Nintendo World; How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk; and Dark Universe.
The Harry Potter themed land will blend 1920s Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.
Attractions at Celestial Park will include Starfall Racers, a dual-launch racing roller coaster reaching speeds up to 62 mph; Constellation Carousel; and Astronomica, an interactive wet-play area that doubles as a giant compass.
Celestial Park will also feature the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel, with a dedicated entrance into the theme park.
Universal Epic Universe will be “just a few miles” from Universal Orlando’s current offerings in Florida. Two new hotels, Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, will be next to the new theme park.
