Royal Caribbean’s Stuart Byron to leave after six years with line

Royal Caribbean UK, Ireland and Spain sales director Stuart Byron is to take up a new role outside travel after six years with the business.

Byron joined the line as director of insights in 2018 and took on his current role in January 2020.

He previously held management and director positions at Johnson & Johnson and PepsiCo.

The line confirmed in a statement: “Stuart Byron has decided to take on a new challenge outside of the travel industry, which he will commence in 2024.

“Stuart has been the sales director for the UK, Ireland and Spain for the past four years and has successfully led his teams over this period.

“In the short term, the UK and Ireland sales leadership team will report to (head of trade marketing) Nicki Lewis.”

The news of Byron’s departure comes two weeks after the announcement that the line’s head of sales Torey Kings-Hodkin would be leaving to join Disney Destinations International as its new trade sales and marketing director.
