Former Barrhead Travel branch manager Kerry Williams has joined Travel Counsellors as a learning and development coach.
She has more than 25 years’ experience working in the travel industry, managing high-performing teams at Thomas Cook and ITC in addition to Barrhead Travel.
In her new role she will support the home working agency’s travel academy programme and inspire new recruits with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Her appointment comes as the company predicts taking on a record number of new recruits this year, having already seen a 122% year-on-year increase in enquiries from people wanting to join Travel Counsellors last year.
Head of franchise recruitment and training Matt Harding said: “We are excited to have Kerry Williams join the team. Her expertise in team leadership, customer success management and business development will be invaluable in promoting our onboarding programme and supporting Travel Counsellors, who come through our travel academy programme.”
