A UK zoo with 51 new ‘safari lodges’ is offering travel agents a 20% discount to pass onto client or use as commission.
The Reserve at Chester Zoo allows agents to receive a fifth off the direct booking price.
The offer is available for bookings made by August 2026.
The first stays are taking place from this month with four grades of lodge accommodating two to six people.
Three types of package offer a range of interactive and behind-the-scenes activities.
Prices start at £410.83 per night based on two adults sharing in November, rising to £1,505.69 per night on the same basis sharing a VIP Giraffe Lodge staying on December 17-18.
Stays, depending on accommodation type, include out-of-hours morning ‘Heart of Africa’ access, a two-day zoo visitor pass plus, campfire stories, and additional “surprise and delight” activities with a £25 dinner allocation per person.
A zoo spokesperson said: “Guests can immerse themselves in luxurious surroundings while enjoying exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences.
“Each stay directly funds vital wildlife conservation projects, helping endangered species like the black rhino and giant pangolin to survive and thrive in the wild.”
