A VIP influencer trip has inspired Sovereign Luxury Travel to produce a new collection of wellness retreat packages in Dubai.
The four-night trade-bookable packages have been put together based on feedback from a hosted trip of lifestyle, wellness and fashion content creators with Sovereign’s sister brand Destination2.
The influencers included model and former Towie star Lucy Mecklenburgh, former member of The Saturdays Una Healy; reality TV star and model Maura Higgins.
The information from the influencers shaped the design of the itineraries, and reflect growing demand for restorative, experience-led luxury travel.
The VIP packages include a stay at Atlantis The Palm and a programme of wellness, desert and dining experiences that can be tailored to clients’ preferences.
Stand-out experiences include sound healing meditation at The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis The Palm; hot air balloon flight at sunrise with Michelin-curated breakfast; overnight desert stay with camel riding and stargazing; private relaxation sessions at Aura Sky Pool; mindfulness mornings at Gitano Dubai; and destination dining, including Casablanca and Ayamna at Atlantis The Palm.
Erin Johnson, group chief marketing officer at Sovereign parent TravCorp Holdings, said: “The hosted experience provided an opportunity to showcase the breadth of Dubai’s evolving wellness offering. Feedback was extremely positive and highlighted strong demand for luxury retreats that balance wellbeing, exceptional service, and memorable experiences. That insight directly informed the development of these new Sovereign packages.”
There are three levels of VIP four-night packages. The first costs from £2,899, and includes a Royal Platinum Desert Experience with an overnight desert stay, camel riding and fine dining. The second, from £1,899, features a Platinum Desert Safari with camel riding and overnight desert stay. The third, from £1,349, does not include the desert stay. All include bed and breakfast accommodation and return flights from Gatwick.
