The managing director of holiday home specialist Cornish Gems is to join Hoseasons in the new year.
Michelle Baillie will be moving on after four and a half years to become director of owner success and growth at Hoseasons.
The new role will allow her to be closer to home and family, Cornish Gems said.
During her time at the company she strengthened commercial relationships with key travel trade partners, boosting the brand’s reach and industry influence.
Cornish Gems revealed plans in May to seek agent partners for the first time in 18 years for trade distribution.
Baillie said: “My time at Cornish Gems has been incredibly rewarding. Together we’ve driven growth, innovation and earned repeated recognition for responsible travel.
“While I’m excited to take on a new role closer to home and family, I leave proud of what we’ve achieved and confident in the business’s bright future.”
Company co-founder, Nadia Macer-Wright added: “Michelle has been an extraordinary leader, shaping Cornish Gems to what it is today. We are immensely grateful for her contributions and wish her every success in her exciting new chapter. She will be greatly missed by us all.”
