Etihad Holidays has upgraded its UK travel agent portal and launched a UK-based support team.
The tour operator of United Arab Emirates carrier Etihad Airways is also offering agents the chance to win a Maldives holiday for two to promote its new agent portal.
It said the revamped portal aims to give travel professionals “smarter tools, stronger security and exclusive perks” while the new UK-based team can provide booking support and assistance.
Gemma Lazenby, B2B head of commercial at Etihad Holidays, said: “The support team moving to the UK was in response to demand from agents.
“All of the team are experienced travel professionals, who will be able to offer a much higher level of support to our agent partners.”
Its portfolio includes Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Thailand, Seychelles, Maldives and Sri Lanka – plus Abu Dhabi F1 packages.
The operator also noted that transfers are now automatically included with every booking and the new destination of Oman has been added to its range.
Oman is served with both Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, with packages from £939 for a five-night break, based on two sharing at the five-star Hilton Salalah Resort, departing June 26, 2026.
The Maldives prize is a seven-night break for two adults, including flights, transfers and accommodation, with selected travel dates to choose from. Entries close on November 30.
The portal will soon also offer other features, including a live availability calendar, ‘deal highlights’, a marketing hub, enhanced quoting tools, a multi-centre itinerary builder, and access to more hotels and room types worldwide.
