Gold Medal has expanded its team of trade partnership executives to five, with the recruitment of travel agent Hannah Butlin.
She joins the B2B operator and its sister trade-facing brands Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys from Midcounties Cooperative Travel in Kings Lynn, where she worked for more than two years.
Her new role as a trade partnership executive will involve building relationships and supporting agents in the East Midlands, to help them increase their business.
She will be responsible for providing training, support and insight across the four dnata B2B brands.
Butlin will work alongside the trade partnership managers, as well as her fellow trade partnership executives Rhiannon Simpson, Eleanor Ferry, Gloria Forrai and Amy Seymour, who have all been hired in the last 15 months.
Gold Medal said it has made a “substantial commitment and investment” its trade team to secure these five new roles, “to maximise the support” for retail stores and homeworking agents.
Karen Fletcher, trade partnerships director, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Hannah to the team. Her background as a high street travel agent gives her valuable insight into what our partners need to best grow their business with the support of our brands.”
Butlin added: “I am keen to get out on the road, meeting and supporting travel agents.
“It’s such an exciting next step in my career and I know I will learn so much from the expert team in place, who have already welcomed me with open arms.”
