Inspire Europe has recruited Newmarket Holidays account manager Freya Sutcliffe.
She will spearhead operations within Inspire’s gift card division as UK & Europe head of sales and business development.
Gift cards currently represent 20% of the company’s overall business portfolio.
Sutcliffe, who joins the Cheshire-based company next month, will drive strategic expansion of the customer base throughout the UK and Europe.
Chief executive Lisa Henning said: “Freya has cultivated exceptional experience through her 24 years in the travel industry, earning recognition and respect across the sector.
“Her remarkable drive and infectious energy, coupled with her comprehensive knowledge spanning tour operations and travel agency sectors, makes her an ideal fit for this strategic position. I’m confident she will have a significant impact to our business.
"The gift card sector represents a multi-billion-pound market across the UK and Europe, with the UK market alone valued at £6 billion.
