InteleTravel appoints training manager to oversee ‘new onboarding process’

InteleTravel has appointed Lisa-Marie Smith as training manager for the UK and Ireland, a role which will involve introducing a “new training strategy” and controlling a “new onboarding training process”.

Smith, who has worked as an agent with the homeworking group for five years, has been described as having “in-depth knowledge of internal processing” and significant experience in events and sales consultancy.

UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes said: “We’re delighted Lisa-Marie has joined as we continue to expand and further improve our training programme for advisors.”

Smith, who will be based in the group’s London office, spent 10 years working at an event management company in Dubai.

She said: “I’m excited to bring my experience to this role and the plans ahead will only strengthen our position in the homeworking sector.”

InteleTravel credited Smith’s ability to mentor her fellow agents.
