The founder of homeworking venture JLT Group has opened her first high street shop, under a new luxury brand: Agent Nouveau.
Janine Marshall, whose homeworking agency joined Protected Trust Services (PTS) in 2023, held a VIP opening to celebrate the launch of the premises in Westbourne, Bournemouth.
Alongside clients, the event included travel partners including Grecotel, Iberostar, Domes, Ratehawk, SHG, Restel, Typically Holidays, PTS and Top Dog, alongside local collaborators such as Michael Sole Art, Bang & Olufsen, Lyfe Health, and Bodies By Raluca.

She said Agent Nouveau has a “travel and lifestyle boutique concept” which is designed “to make the journey begin long before the flight”.
Marshall said: “We wanted to create something that feels more personal than a traditional travel agency – a place where you can sit down, take your time and talk about how you want your trip to feel…not just where you’re going.
“We want your experience to start the moment you walk through the door in our Agent Nouveau lounge.”
Agent Nouveau will also host regular destination evenings in partnership with suppliers, chefs and sommeliers, offering clients a “more immersive way” to discover their next holiday.
“It has been going well. We are obviously in the early days, but we have made a handful of sales already,” she said.
Marshall also said her homeworkers in JLT Group have been “incredibly busy” with sales last month up by £1 million on January 2025.
She attributed this “standout performance” to a “strong uptake of supplier incentives and January deals across our key package partners”.
“The majority of bookings were secured for February, May and June, alongside consistent demand across the wider calendar, including a small number of long-lead bookings for 2027 and even 2028, reflecting sustained confidence in future travel,” she added.
