Travel Counsellors has reported it has seen “strong early impact” from TC Co-Pilot since its launch in November, with 81% of agents worldwide now using it.
The AI-powered “assistant”, fully integrated into the company’s booking platform and other systems, helps agents to tailor their recommendations to clients’ needs.
Using Travel Counsellors data, the tool helps agents with Phenix guidance, itinerary building, hotel research, marketing content creation and social media planning. It can also produce personalised packing lists, tailored restaurant suggestions and bespoke welcome letters.
The homeworking group has introduced dedicated training, unveiled a TC Co‑Pilot Hub with resources and updates and will run a series of AI workshops throughout the year.
Sally Murray, a gold-level Travel Counsellors agent based in West Berkshire, said: “I can’t thank the team enough for TC Co‑Pilot. In just one week over peaks, it supported me in scoping out a three‑week Australia itinerary so that, by the time I spoke to our trusted suppliers and contacts, I already had a well‑researched plan to refine with them.
“It’s helped me save significant time, plan my social media content and quickly source key support information, all while still leaving me to do what matters most: being the expert, and the human, for my customers.”
Travel Counsellors chief technology officer Jon Bauer said: “TC Co-Pilot is designed to help our business owners deliver deeply personalised travel experiences at scale.
“By embedding AI directly into our platform and using our unique TC data, it supports [agents] to be more thoughtful, more responsive and more tailored in every interaction.
“Crucially, it enhances, not replaces the human touch, freeing up time for our community to focus on building meaningful relationships with their customers.
“As adoption grows, real-world insight is already shaping how we continue to evolve TC Co-Pilot.”
In addition to the roll-out of TC Co‑Pilot, Travel Counsellors said it has also strengthened AI capability across its support teams.
