New 1903 lounge at Manchester Airport officially opened

Manchester Airport has officially opened its new 1903 lounge in Terminal 3.

The adult-only lounge, named after the year of the Wright brothers’ first flight, can cater for up to 71 people.

Overlooking the airfield, the lounge has its own chefs and the lounge’s food, all-inclusive to passengers using the facility, is designed exclusively and freshly cooked.

Manchester Pale Ale and Manchester Gin, including the special Manchester Pink Raspberry infused gin, provide a local touch to the drinks menu which will vary to include a range of seasonal specials throughout the year.

Beth Brewster, executive vice president of business development and lounges for Manchester Airports Group, said: “The final product looks superb and offers passengers a real slice of luxury before their flight.”

Passengers using the lounge will also have a fasted-track security entry and unlimited inclusive Wi-Fi.

Lounge use starts at £35 for advance bookings.
