British Airways has announced two new routes from Edinburgh airport, which are on sale from Thursday (December 7) for the summer 2024 season.
For the first time, the flag-carrier will offer twice-weekly flights from Edinburgh to San Sebastian in Spain’s Basque Country and weekly flights to Olbia in northeast Sardinia, Italy.
Flights will be operated by BA’s’ subsidiary, BA Cityflyer, which flies from London City during the week.
The new flights from Edinburgh will depart over the weekends to complement the existing schedule from London City.
Both routes will operate on a 98-seat Embraer 190 aircraft with two cabins: Club Europe (business class) and Euro Traveller (economy).
The San Sebastian service starts on May 25, 2024, and flying twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays until July 30, 2024. Fares are available from £84 each way.
The Olbia flights start on May 25, 2024, and will fly every Saturday until August 10, 2024, with fares from £88 each way.
