Jet2.com and Jet2holidays reveal ‘major expansion’ for spring 2024

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a “major expansion” to their summer 2024 programme with extra flights and holidays on sale to 17 destinations for next spring and Easter.

The sister brands have also extended the summer season to three destinations next summer – Tivat in Montenegro, Girona in Spain and Izmir in Turkey – in response to demand.

The company said “strong demand” means it now has an additional 75,000 seats to destinations in Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Montenegro, Portugal, Cyprus, Italy and Greece for summer 2024.

The new flights have been added in March, April and May 2024, with departures during the Easter holidays and spring.

The extra capacity has been added from 10 of the firm’s UK bases – Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted airports.

Flights will now start operating from the end of March to Girona and Izmir and from the beginning of April to Tivat for the first time.

Extra capacity to Dubrovnik, Ibiza, Reus and Rhodes has been added in April and May, and there are new flights on sale to Antalya, Bodrum, Faro, Larnaca, Gran Canaria, Naples, Palma (Majorca), Menorca, Alicante, and Tenerife.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “As the UK’s largest tour operator, we are continuing to react quickly to the demand we are seeing by adding on even more capacity for summer ‘24.

“Customers and independent travel agents have been flocking to book holidays for the early summer season, so we are delighted to be offering even more choice and flexibility to 17 sun destinations and giving holidaymakers many opportunities to get away on our award-winning flights and holidays.

“By extending the season to Tivat, Girona and Izmir, as well as adding additional services to a host of destinations for the early summer season, we are giving customers exactly what they want – an early slice of summer sun, and we know just how much they will be jumping at the chance to get away and grab this.”
