Top performing independent agents are among 350 delegates participating in Jet2holidays’ eighth annual conference taking place in Portugal this week.
This year’s theme is based around the ‘Who Dares Wins’ motto, with agents urged to have the “courage and audacity” to confront challenges in order to succeed.
Former soldier and star of SAS Who Dares Wins, Colin MacLachlan, will deliver a motivational talk about facing up to fears and taking on challenges to make things happen. He will also take agents through a gruelling boot camp.
Agents will learn more about Jet2holidays’ future vision from senior figures including chief executive Steve Heapy, head of trade Alan Cross, and head of product Zoe Towers.
The agenda of presentations and question and answer sessions is designed to equip agents with the knowledge and skills they need to look ahead with a positive mindset and translate this into sales as demand for holidays continues.
A number of updates, launches and announcements planned throughout the event, with sessions covering topics such as combating the cost of living and sustainability.
Delegates, flown to Faro from Manchester and Newcastle airports, will use a dedicated app on their phones to stay in touch with the conference programme and receive real-time updates, as opposed to using printed materials and paper-based conference programmes.
