SAS is to reinstate flights between Manchester and Bergen.
The Scandinavian carrier will run twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays from September.
The route to the gateway to the Norwegian fjords is one of ten additional European services being added for the summer and autumn.
Frequency is also being raised to key Mediterranean destinations from Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Flights will also resume to Tokyo with three flights a week from June, a third weekly fight between Copenhagen and Shanghai this spring and additional transatlantic links from Gothenburg and Aalborg to Newark.
Network and revenue management executive vice president Erik Westman said: “We are delighted to welcome our passengers back and seeing the desire to travel continuing to rise.
“SAS is increasing capacity this summer, adding more routes and additional flights to popular destinations.
“We are also glad to return to beautiful Tokyo with three weekly flights in June and to launch our new routes to Newark.”
