Auria Travel has achieved £1 million in sales within just seven months of being established.
The independent agency hailed an omnichannel approach which has enabled it to attract both local clients and a growing national customer base.
The company combines a modern high street retail presence, a fully bookable online platform and a flexible homeworking model.
Auria Travel’s first retail outlet opened in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, an affluent market town chosen for its strong local economy and appetite for bespoke, high-quality travel experiences.
The branch has quickly become a destination for customers seeking expert advice on tailor-made holidays, luxury travel and cruise, according to the company.
Alongside its retail operation, Auria Travel, founded by industry veteran Markus Kendall-Young, created a fully transactional website, allowing customers nationwide to book holidays.
Auria Travel’s growth has also been driven by a homeworking proposition, designed to empower self-employed travel professionals to create bespoke itineraries for their clients.
“Ambitious” growth plans include the expansion of its retail footprint into additional locations, alongside continued investment in its homeworking division.
To support this, the company will be appointing a dedicated business development manager to focus on recruiting and supporting self-employed travel partners across the UK.
Kendall-Young said: “Reaching £1 million in sales within our first seven months is an incredibly proud moment.
“It validates our belief that there is strong demand for a modern travel business that blends trusted face-to-face service with cutting-edge technology and true flexibility for both customers and consultants.
"We’re not trying to be the biggest, but we are focused on being one of the most credible, personal and dynamic travel brands in the UK.”
