Celebrity Cruises has revealed features of four new venues on its newest ship Celebrity Xcel, due to debut later this year.
The first venue is the Celebrity Pool Club which will “set the new standard” for an all-day, all-night poolside experience.
The club will have a new pool valet, a rooftop design to offer more shade and private cabanas to book.
On the last sea day of the sailing there will be an event called “Poolest Day Ever” with Caribbean-inspired live music, pop-up shows, pool games and exclusive poolside drinks.
The second new venue is a 24-hour games room called Attic at The Club which has an adult-only lounge with retro games such as Pac-Man, NBA Showtime and Golden Tee.
The third new venue is the “Hydra Room” at the spa which provides water-focused treatments such as a warm bubbling pool with massaging jets and heated lounge chairs.
The spa will also have a new outside area called The Vitamin D Deck at the front of the ship which is exclusive for passengers who have booked a Thermal Suite treatment.
The fourth new venue is the line’s first Celebrity Flagship store which will stock “one-of-a-kind" Celebrity products only available on Xcel.
Passengers can create and take home mementos of the ship, with options to personalise items with engraving, embroidery or printing.
These venues join the Bazaar and “Date Night, All Day Long” concepts which are new for the ship, with one more to be announced at the inaugural cruise in November from Fort Lauderdale.
Celebrity Cruises president Laura Hodges Bethge said: “Celebrity Xcel will set sail with seven new elevated experiences that invite guests to escape their daily routine and make memories that will last a lifetime.
“With so much innovation at every turn, the journey will be just as fun as the destinations themselves.”
