Celebrity River Cruises to offer early booking access to inaugural sailings

Celebrity River Cruises will offer early booking access to its inaugural 2027 sailings next month when it starts accepting refundable deposits.

Celebrity will introduce its river offering by operating sailings on the Danube and the Rhine, with pre or post-cruise stays available in Prague and Budapest.

Priority booking access will open at 2pm on September 3, enabling customers to pay a fully refundable £400 deposit in return for the opportunity to book a cruise before the general public and receive the detailed itinerary and stateroom information.

Celebrity Cruises president Laura Hodges Bethge said: “We are excited to offer guests the chance to experience the first-ever Celebrity River Cruises vacations in 2027 with Priority Booking Access.

“Guests will enjoy the warm hospitality Celebrity is known for, on innovative ships, with land experiences unlike any other, as we set sail on Europe’s iconic Danube and Rhine rivers.”

Hodges Bethge has previously spoken of the potential for innovation on river ships, pointing to the top deck as a particular area of opportunity.
