Tui Cruises celebrates delivery of Mein Schiff Relax

Tui Cruises has celebrated the delivery of its newest ship, Mein Schiff Relax, at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.

Shipbuilder Fincantieri and the cruise line, a joint venture between Tui and the Royal Caribbean Group, held a ceremony for the delivery of the first of two InTUItion Class concept ships.

The 160,000 ton vessel will be able to run on liquid natural gas (LNG) and marine gas oil (MGO), as will its sister ship, which is set to launch in mid-2026.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Italian government, the shipbuilder and cruise line.

These included Luca Ciriani, Italian minister for relations with Parliament; Biagio Mazzotta, Fincantieri chairman and chief executive; Wybcke Meier, Tui Cruises chief executive; and captain Tom Roth.
