Premier Holidays’ sales and marketing director Debbie Goffin will retire this summer after more than 25 years with the company.
Goffin joined the operator in 2000 as USA product manager, following a stint at BA Holidays where she was North America product manager.
She began her career in travel in 1991 on the Thomas Cook graduate scheme, before progressing through a variety of marketing and product roles, including brochure management and USA product manager for Thomas Cook Holidays.
After joining Premier at the turn of the millennium, Goffin was appointed head of marketing in 2001 following a company restructure, before becoming head of sales and marketing in 2004.

In recognition of her “significant contribution” to the business, she was appointed to the board as a director in 2017.
The company said Goffin has played a “central role” in driving commercial growth, strengthening the brand within the trade and championing the value of strong, long-term trade partnerships.
Managing director Niki Waters said: “After 25 years with Premier Holidays, Debbie Goffin will be retiring at the end of June this year.
“Debbie has played a pivotal role in shaping Premier Holidays’ commercial strategy, strengthening our brand presence within the trade and building high-performing sales and marketing teams, whilst consistently delivering strong revenue performances. Her unwavering commitment to Premier Holidays, commercial acumen, vision and integrity will leave a lasting impact on our team.”
Waters said Goffin would continue to play a “key role” within Premier Holidays over the coming months, continuing as senior trade sales contact as the company begins the transition process.
“Hugely respected across the travel trade, Debbie’s passion, commitment and big personality have made her an integral part of the Premier family, and when she does finally retire later this year, she will be sorely missed,” added Waters.
