EasyJet and easyJet holidays have projected a record summer with more than 82,000 flights across the network during the school holidays.
More than seven million passengers are set to travel on over 45,000 flights to and from the UK alone.
The airline is operating its biggest summer schedule, with seven additional Airbus A320 aircraft joining its UK-based fleet at Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Southend airports.
More than 33 million seats are scheduled to and from the UK across the whole summer season, 500,000 more than last year.
The budget carrier is operating 44 new routes including to the new destinations of Sal in Cape Verde, Rimini in Italy and Tbilisi in Georgia, plus more choice to longer leisure routes such as to Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.
The airline will see its busiest day of the summer season on September 5 when nearly 2,000 flights are set to take off with more than 300,000 passengers expecting to fly, as thousands of families across the UK return from their summer break while others depart.
The most popular summer destinations from the UK this summer are Malaga, Palma and Faro. Edinburgh and Belfast are the top domestic destinations.
In-house tour operation easyJet holidays will also see its busiest summer season, with Palma, Rhodes, Tenerife, Antalya and Dalaman identified as destinations where more free child places have been taken up by families then in previous years.

Meanwhile, Liverpool John Lennon airport expects an 8% increase in summer passenger throughput to more than 720,000 passengers until the end of August against the same peak period last year.
This follows record traveller totals in May and June to top 2.6 million in the first half of the year, up 11% on the equivalent period in 2024.
Among the top 10 destinations from Liverpool this summer are Alicante, Palma, Malaga, Faro, Tenerife, Antalya, Lanzarote and Dalaman together with Dublin and Belfast.
