G Adventures appoints Anthony McIntyre to bolster UK agent support

G Adventures has recruited Anthony McIntyre as a global purpose specialist to further support travel agents in the northwest of the UK and surrounding areas.

McIntyre has more than a decade of experience in the industry, with his most recent role being with Thomas Cook for which he managed a nationwide 24/7 team that handled customer issues.

He said: “I’m excited to contribute to G Adventures’ strong performance and position as the best in the business, and I can’t wait to start meeting agents, building those key relationships and supporting them in their role.”

His other previous experience includes a team manager role at Tui Group, where he was a point of contact for thousands of customers each year.

He has travelled extensively and lived in Mexico, Thailand, Spain and Greece.

G Adventures national sales manager Stu Darnley said: “We’re excited to welcome Anthony to the team. He brings with him over a decade of experience in the travel industry.
