Hoseasons has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of former Bourne Leisure trade boss Neil Davies.
Davies has been made director of commercial and business development in a new role at the domestic operator.
He is tasked with growing the self-catering specialist’s lodge resort and holiday park portfolio and takes charge of its strategic partnerships.
Davies brings more than 30 years’ travel industry experience to the role and joins from Waterside Holiday Group, where he was holiday sales and marketing lead.
He previously worked as a director at Park Leisure and prior to that spent more than 13 years at Bourne Leisure as head of commercial and revenue management and then as head of travel trade for Haven, Butlin’s and Warner Leisure Hotels. He has also worked in senior roles at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and EuroSites.
Gemma Brown, general manager at Hoseasons, said: “Neil is a fantastic addition to the team and I know his years of experience in the holiday park and hospitality sectors will make him a really popular appointment with our owners.
“His commercial acumen is second to none and I’m really looking forward to working with him to help our owners get the best value possible from our partnerships and maximise their revenues.”
Davies said: “I’m thrilled to have joined such a respected and established brand at a pivotal moment for the UK holiday industry. Staycations continue to capture the imagination of British travellers, and we are uniquely positioned to support our partners in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
"Whether it’s through our market-leading, data-driven insights or our intelligent, performance-focused pricing strategies, I firmly believe Hoseasons offers owners unrivalled value when it comes to helping their businesses thrive.”
