ITC Travel Group has reported August this year was “its best ever month” for cruise sales.
The operator, which comprises Spectate, Rainbow Tours and Regent Holidays, found its cruise sales for the month were nearly quadruple (170%) the level of any other month.
The Caribbean was the highest-selling destination and the top three sellers were SeaDream Yacht Club, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Seabourn, with bookings for this winter as well as forward sales into 2026 and 2027.
ITC product and travel relationship manager for cruise Denise Walker said: “The month delivered several strong campaigns from the cruise lines that have certainly driven more business, notably, the savings campaign from Oceania and a newly launched two-category upgrade from Regent Seven Seas, both of which we usually see during wave season.”
Walker added September had also maintained “strong momentum”.
She said: “We anticipate a wave of late bookings for the Caribbean as it goes into high season - particularly for Barbados cruises, which remain a top seller for ITC thanks to our dedicated on-the-ground team in Barbados.”
