Extra capacity is being added to Kefalonia by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays with an extended summer season.
A new Saturday service will run from Manchester airport from May 2 until October 31, 2026. The extension beyond the original October 10 cut-off covers the autumn school half-term.
Up to six flights a week will serve Kefalonia from the northwest hub throughout the season.
Flights to the Ionian island will also run from eight other UK airports - Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Stansted.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Kefalonia is an extremely popular holiday destination, and we are seeing continued demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book both peak and late summer dates.
“Due to this response, we are delighted to be extending our summer ’26 season to the end of October, providing customers with the flexible holiday choices that they want.”
