MSC Cruises has appointed Natasha Smith as the new regional sales manager for the Midlands & Central region.
Most recently, she was a regional sales manager at Balkan Holidays, which ceased trading in April.
The cruise line said Smith brings a “wealth of experience” to the role, having worked within and outside the travel industry in field-based sales and account management.
She began her career as a travel agent before moving into various field sales roles beyond the travel sector, before returned to the industry with Balkan Holidays.
Alyshia Bartlett, head of retail, homeworking and tour operations at MSC Cruises, said: “Natasha will be a great asset to our team. Her enthusiasm, industry insight and proven track record in account management will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our trade partnerships and expand our distribution across the region.”
The cruise line said her appointment is part of MSC Cruises’ growth strategy and commitment to supporting its expanding network of travel agents across the UK and Ireland.
Smith said: “I have always had a genuine passion for travel, and I am thrilled to be joining the team at MSC Cruises. I am excited to bring my experience to the role, working closely with our valued trade partners across the Midlands and Central region.”
