MSC Poesia has completed its dry dock refurbishment at the Palumbo Malta shipyard ahead of its debut Alaska season next month.
Poesia is the second ship from the line’s Musica Class to be upgraded at the shipyard, with two speciality restaurants and luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, MSC Yacht Club, added to both vessels.
The MSC Yacht Club has 69 suites which offer 24-hour butler and concierge service and an exclusive restaurant, lounge, sundeck with whirlpools and grill restaurant and bar.
The two new speciality dining venues are the Butcher’s Cut and Katio Sushi Bar, while the MSC Aurea Spa and MSC Gym have also been enhanced.
MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra are the next vessels in the fleet that will have MSC Yacht Club added to them.
Poesia will now transit the Panama Canal before arriving in Seattle for the start of the Alaska season, which runs from May to September.
The ship will sail seven-night voyages, taking in Ketchikan, Junea, Endicott Arm and Icy Strait Point.
Poesia will then move to the Caribbean and operate round-trip sailings from Miami during the winter 2026-278 season, before returning to Alaska in summer 2027.
