New Antarctica to Arctic Jane McDonald series to debut in January

The first episode of the new Channel 5 series called Jane McDonald: From Pole to Pole will air at 9pm on January 2, 2026.

The six-part adventure series was filmed on board Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Sakara as the TV presenter travels from Antarctica to the Arctic.

Macdonald will visit a new location in each episode, including South Georgia, The Falklands, Uruguay, Brazil, Greece, Italy, Svalbard and the Arctic Circle.

Viewers will also watch her join experiences such as helicopter rides and whale watching, and she will perform a song at the end of each episode.
