Italy and India continue to top the list of most booked destinations for Newmarket Holidays, with momentum expected to remain strong into 2026.
Bookings for Japan continue to rise after three years of growth, while Australasia and China are set to join the ranks of the escorted tours specialist’s best sellers.
The new data is based on booking patterns and consumer demand from the past 12 months.
Customers are seeking “immersive cultural experiences, deeper discovery and high-impact, once-in-a-lifetime journeys,” according to the operator.
New tours to India and Italy are being added, following recent expansion in Japan, China and Australasia.
Three new Indian itineraries include a rail-based Premier Collection adventure, a tiger safari for solo travellers and a Himalayas-to-Ganges tour.
Two new European escorted holidays cover Puglia and Basilicata in southern Italy and the Alps including Lake Maggiore, Zermatt and the Centovalli Railway.
Product, purchasing and operations director Verity Rice said: “We’re pleased to see our consistently strong performers, particularly India and Italy, continue to feature prominently in our top 10.
"It’s also been exciting to track the rise of new favourites, with Japan becoming a regular presence, and newer long-haul tours to China and Australasia receiving massive interest.
“We’ve also seen increased demand for major events such as Wimbledon and André Rieu concerts, reflecting a wider trend towards meaningful, experience-led travel.”
