Agents are being provided with a new commission earning option as P&O Cruises introduces add-on all-inclusive packages in its wave push.
Drinks, Wi-Fi and a speciality dining credit are included in an initiative the line’s sales chief claims to be a “game changer”.
A Classic package costs £49 per person per day for five to 14-night cruises, or £59pp per day for a Deluxe package.
The line calculates that the new deals offer savings of up to 32% on the Classic package and up to 34% on the Deluxe package compared with buying the individual elements on board.
This equates to average savings of £23 per day and £30 per day respectively.
The Classic package includes the company’s classic drinks package, essential Wi-Fi and either a £20 (five-9 nights), £40 (10-14 nights) or £55 (15+ nights) dining credit depending on the voyage duration.
The Deluxe package incorporates the deluxe drink package with a wider range of premium spirits, craft beers and a variety of cocktails; uptime Wi-Fi for streaming and video calls; and either a £30 (five-9 nights), £60 (10-14 nights) or £80 (15+ nights) dining credit depending on the length of cruise.
The optional add-ons are available to book from tomorrow (December 18) on all cruises of five nights or more departing from March 2026.
The all-inclusive packages are available for all seven ships in the fleet and are combinable across Select Price, Early Saver and Saver fare types.
Associate vice president for sales & distribution Ruth Venn said: “It’s so exciting to kick off wave season with the launch of such an attractive product.
“We are always exploring ways to deliver value for our guests and travel agent partners and the launch of our new, all-inclusive packages is going to be a real game-changer.
“Wave is the biggest selling period for us and this campaign represents a huge opportunity for travel agents to hit the ground running in 2026 and encourage more holidaymakers to sail with P&O Cruises.”
Venn told a Travel Weekly webcast: “We have got a very exciting wave campaign. And for the first time, P&O Cruises is going to be offering all-inclusive packages, which are going to be fully commissionable to our travel agents and available at the time of booking.
“This will include our drinks packages, our Wi-Fi packages and dining vouchers - £49 for the Classic or £59 for a Deluxe all-inclusive package, which can be added to your booking at the time.”
She added: “We have spoken to agents already, and we know they have been asking for this.
“We know that customers really want that peace of mind around what is included, and they want to be able to enjoy their holiday without any thoughts on what it is costing.
"Two years ago, we launched our drinks packages available at point of sale, and we have seen really strong uptake with that, and our agents have really got behind that, and they are asking for more.
“We know that Wi-Fi is something that guests now want on board, so we are putting together this package [which] we see is going to be really important as we go into wave.”
Carnival UK and P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “Incredible value and effortless simplicity are at the heart of our cruise holidays and that’s why we are so excited to be launching these new, all-inclusive packages. Guests can relax knowing that drinks, Wi-Fi and dining are all included.”
