Protected Trust Services has promoted executive director Emma Collis to the role of managing director.
Collis, who started at PTS in 2018, will also join the board.
The consortium said she has helped to drive “incredible” growth, with 163 new travel businesses joining PTS so far in 2025 – compared to 126 in 2024.
The number of members is now 468, which includes homeworking groups that have numbers ranging from 10s to more than 300 agents, and bricks-and-mortar businesses with one or more shops.
Daniel Landen, chief executive of PTS, said: “With the pace PTS is growing, strengthening our leadership team was essential.
“Giving Emma the MD role simply recognises the work she’s already doing and the trust we all have in her to drive the business into its next chapter. We’re incredibly proud of her and very lucky to have her.”
Before PTS, she worked for a tour operator, organising group travel and trips for stag and hen parties. Previously, she was a store manager at Woolworths until the retailer closed in 2009.
Collis said: “It means a lot to have the full backing of the directors and the team.
“Since joining PTS in 2018, I’ve seen this business grow faster and stronger every year.
“We’re welcoming record numbers of members and pushing ourselves every day to support them better.
“What makes PTS special is the people. The passion here is real. We look out for each other, and we look out for our members. That’s what drives results.”
She hailed the “dedication and support” from her team adding: “I’m excited for what comes next and the momentum we’ll continue to build together.”
Landen also said: “Emma is the sort of leader every company wants but rarely finds.
“She’s bright, brave and full of positive energy. She listens. She cares. And she makes things happen.
“Over the past few years, she has taken on more responsibility than her job title ever suggested, and she’s excelled at all of it.”
