Three analysts from PricewaterhouseCoopers will present proprietary research and offer insight on customer behaviour at The Travel Convention in Majorca this autumn.
Abta’s flagship conference will take place in Calvia from October 6-8.
The event will feature a presentation from Sam Farnfield and Eleanor Scott of Strategy&, which is part of the PwC UK network, alongside PwC UK head of travel Rick Jones.
They will analyse topics including how the travel sector fits within the broader retail environment and “how channels and influences are developing and changing research and purchasing”.
The convention will also shine a light on Calvia’s sustainability initiatives, including its commitment to zero waste, fighting microplastics and aligning beach services with responsible tourism practices.
The 2025 Travel Convention will take place at the four-star Melia Calvia Beach Resort with content focused on four pillars: Our world; Our industry; Your business; and Your network.
Attendees will stay at one of two hotels within the resort, Melia Calvia Beach and Melia South Beach.
The event will be held in partnership with easyJet holidays, with support from headline partners Global and Intrepid. Travel Weekly will again be trade media partner.
