Antarctic attraction

At SeaWorld, the all-new Penguin Trek is ready to ride. Located in the recently opened Antarctica Realm, Penguin Trek gives visitors a whirlwind expedition, twisting through ice caves at up to 43mph.

The ride ends at the heart of SeaWorld’s very own penguin colony for an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Antarctica Realm is also home to new food and drink venues, for guests to refuel with Italian and Asian-inspired dishes and ice-cold beverages.

Flying high

A soaring flight over the Serengeti Plains of Pantopia awaits those who board Phoenix Rising, the 10th coaster to join the lineup at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. This thrilling new ride is North America’s tallest and longest inverted family coaster, featuring onboard audio and lighting.

But it’s not just adults who can get their adrenaline fix – with a height restriction of just over one metre, younger visitors won’t miss out on the fun. The park’s other attractions include Serengeti Flyer, where twin duelling arms soar into the air at heights of up to 41 metres, and Iron Gwazi, a vast hybrid coaster that’s the fastest and tallest of its kind in North America.

Water park fun

From high-speed slides to lazy rivers, Aquatica is home to more than 50 attractions. Tassie’s Underwater Twist is new this year, spinning riders through an underwater world, joining the line-up of more exhilarating slides, such as Reef Plunge and Riptide Race. There’s also a sandy beach for those who want a laid-back way to spend the day.
