Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed former Google director of business analysis, data and research Lucy Sinclair to its board of directors.
Sinclair, who joined the cruise line in July, previously held positions at the Royal Opera House, JPI Media and the BBC.
In her role as non-executive director, Sinclair will support the executive team in “accelerating the digital evolution of the business and its distribution function”, the line said.
Sinclair said: “I am excited to join the board of Ambassador Cruise Line which, as a new entrant into the market, has already established a formidable reputation as a quality cruise operator focussed on providing premium value..
“I look forward to adding my skills and experience to those of the existing board and executive management as we build further on the Ambassador Cruise Line proposition to consumers who can now enjoy departures from seven ports around the UK in addition to our home base of London Tilbury.”
Chair of the board of directors Gordon Wilson said: “We are delighted to have Lucy join the board as an independent non-executive director.
“Her experience in consumer digital engagement, pricing, revenue management and brand building will help us realise the growth ambitions we have for Ambassador Cruise Line.”
