Hurtigruten’s vice-president of sales and marketing for the UK and EMEA Anthony Daniels is to leave the line.
Daniels joined the company in 2015 and has been “central in leading the commercial team across the UK and emerging markets”, the line said.
Daniels has worked in the cruise industry for more than 30 years, having previously held positions at Cunard, Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Seabourn.
He said he has left Hurtigruten to take time to work on “next projects”.
James Howlett, sales manager for the UK, will take up the position on a temporary basis while the company recruits a permanent replacement.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved during my time at Hurtigruten,” Daniels said. “I have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the best people and teams and wish them every success in the future.
“I now want to take time to work on my next projects and am excited to see what the future holds.”
Chief commercial officer Patrick Brewer said: “I am very grateful to Anthony for all he has done for Hurtigruten in the UK and emerging markets over the many years. We wish him all the best for the future.”
