Dnata brands report ‘record-breaking’ start to peaks

Dnata Travel Group UK has reported a “record-breaking” start to the peak season across its B2B brands Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys.

Each of dnata’s brands launched individual campaigns at the start of the peak season offering discounts and agent incentives.

Demand for Sri Lanka has increased by 250% year on year, the parent company reported, with Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam all growing in popularity.

Gold Medal said demand for Dubai has grown by 25% compared to this time last year, while the number of nights booked for Disney has increased by 35% year on year following the release of its Disney gift card inclusion, where customers can secure up to four free nights and a $200 gift card on 2024 bookings.

Additionally, web sales are 40% higher than they were in January 2023.

Managing director Simon Applebaum said: “Our brands have seen a strong start to peaks following the launch of four brand-specific campaigns.

“Our sales team is coping well with the demand we are seeing, but it is also apparent that agents are utilising our website to make bookings too.

“Our web sales are up 40% year on year which is really promising to see following the enhancements we made last year to our online functionality.”
