Emerald Cruises will reposition Emerald Azzurra from the Seychelles to the Caribbean for the winter 2024-25 season due to the ongoing conflict in the Red Sea.
The line said it is experiencing “strong demand” for Caribbean sailings on Emerald Sakara and departures have “nearly reached full capacity” for the winter season, so it will homeport Emerald Azzurra in the region as well, with new itineraries available.
Emerald Cruises said it is “pushing back” the ship’s original Seychelles season “to prioritise guest safety in light of the ongoing situation in the Red Sea”.
The new Caribbean itineraries will operate from December 7 this year until February 22, 2025.

A 15-day Discover the Yachting Islands of the Caribbean cruise on Emerald Azzurra will call at Jost Van Dyke and Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, Antigua and St Barts.
Prices start at £6,526 based on a December 14 departure including flights, transfers, meals, Wi-Fi and excursions.
